Summary:      After a nine day trial the application of the Childrens Aid Society for permanent care of a child was dismissed and custody of the child was granted to his grandparents.

 

Issue:                                 Were the grandparents entitled to costs?

 


Result:      No costs were awarded.  Costs against an agency should be granted only in exceptional circumstances.
