Summary: Parties divorced after a 25 year marriage. Previous orders placed the child in the parents’ joint custody and in the Wife’s primary care. Child and spousal support were to be paid by the Husband. The Husband’s employment ended due to medical disability and his income consisted of CPP and long term disability. Both are available for payment of support and the long term disability payment was grossed up for tax. The child remained in the Wife’s primary care. The Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines were used to determine quantum and duration of spousal support.
