Summary:                   The Adult was found to be in need of protection and unable to care for himself.  A Guardian ad Litem was appointed.  A Family member applied for leave to be added as a party.  The family opposed the Minister of Health’s placement decision.  The Minister opposed the application for leave.  The Guardian supported the application.

 

Issue:                          Dispute regarding the Minister of Health’s placement plan for the adult in need of protection.  This decision related to the granting of leave to add a family member as a party to the proceeding.
