Summary:                      The accused on two separate occasions savagely beat two individuals which resulted in their death.  He plead guilty to one count of second degree murder and one of manslaughter.  A joint recommendation as to sentence was made. 

 


Result:                          The joint recommendation of a life sentence with parole ineligibility for eighteen years for the second degree murder and sixteen years for manslaughter to be served concurrently is within the acceptable range of sentences and warranted by the admitted facts.  Joint recommendation accepted.
