Summary:                      Appellant was found guilty of two counts of unprofessional conduct and suspended for seven weeks.  His appeal was by trial de novo and Court heard all the evidence which had been presented at the original hearing along with additional evidence.

 

Issue:                            Was appellant guilty of unprofessional conduct, and if so, what penalty should be imposed?

 


Result:                          Appellant found guilty of two counts of unprofessional conduct, one of which involved his attempt to require complainant to withdraw his complaint as part of a settlement.  Penalty imposed by Board was appropriate and confirmed.
