LIBRARY HEADING
Judge: The Honourable Justice Elizabeth Jollimore

Summary: Ahmed sought divorce, property division, shared parenting, child and spousal support. Naseem argued marriage was void and Ahmed had not entered into it in good faith, so there could be no divorce and property division. Child had not been adopted by parties. Ahmed, as guardian, could seek shared parenting under Maintenance and Custody Act, but had not seen child (now seven) in almost four years. Application for parenting and child maintenance dismissed. Spousal maintenance awarded because Ahmed left employment in Qatar.
