SUBJECT:                 Criminal Law - Taxation of legal expenses.

 

 

 

SUMMARY:               Mr. Innocente had previously successfully applied to have some of his property which had been seized pursuant to section 462.32 of the Criminal Code, released to pay for his legal expenses pursuant to section 462.34 of the Code.  The court taxed Mr. Innocente’s reasonable legal expenses pursuant to subsection (5.2) of section 462.34.

 

 

 

RESULT:                    Mr. Innocente’s reasonable legal expenses were taxed at $53,258.79.
