Summary:                   A 19 year old student sprayed his roommate with pepper spray and, after the victim was disabled, stabbed him in the back.  The offender has no criminal record, is receiving counselling and has the support of his family.  He has a history of lashing out when he does not get his own way.

 

Result:                        Offender sentenced to ten months incarceration, followed by probation for a period of one year.
