Summary:                               Accused communicated on the internet with an undercover police officer posing as a 13-year-old boy.  Accused’s defence that he had believed he was role playing with an adult, not a 13-year-old boy

 

Issue:                                      W.D. considered in light of the accused’s testimony.     

 

Result:                                    Accused found guilty of offences pursuant to s. 152 and s. 172(2)(2).  Not guilty on s. s. 342.1(a) C.C.C.
