Result: - Court exercised discretion to vary interim parenting arrangement where status quo no longer in child’s best interests because of protection concerns. Court recognized this was one of the exceptional cases where an interim variation was appropriate.
- Court placed children in the care of their father. The mother was granted supervised access because she had assaulted her 8 year old son when her son was belligerent. The mother was instructed to participate in programming to learn effective and safe methods of discipline. Educational programming also ordered for the father.
