LIBRARY HEADING

Judge:

The Honourable Justice C. LouAnn Chiasson

Heard:

July 4 & October 2, 2017, in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Summary:             The mother applied to change the shared parenting arrangement between the parties to a parallel parenting arrangement.  The father sought to continue the shared parenting arrangement and return to a four day on/four day off rotation.  Given the high conflict nature of this matter, a parallel parenting arrangement was ordered.  The court accepted that lessening the number of transitions between the homes was in the children’s best interests.  The current week on/week off arrangement was preferable to the four on/four off schedule proposed by the father.
