SUBJECT:   Lifting temporary injunction; Determining the

scope of work authorized by Demolition Permit

 

SUMMARY:  HRM issued Demolition Permit with respect to a portion of structures on 3 lots damaged when roof collapsed.  Owner=s representative/business operator obtained temporary injunction stopping demolition work at one of the affected properties.

 

ISSUE:           Scope of work authorized by Demolition Permit:  Should temporary Injunction be continued?

 

RESULT:      Demolition Permit was properly issued and authorized demolition of entire building on one of the three lots where structures were located.  Temporary injunction, which was directed towards work on that lot, was lifted.
