Summary:                      The parties cohabited.  The plaintiff claimed a constructive trust in property of the defendant, or alternatively, damages for unjust enrichment for farm chores and renovations to the defendant’s property during cohabitation, as well for certain of the plaintiff’s monies used to purchase various items and pay debts.  The defendant counterclaimed for damages to her property.

 

Issue:                    Was there an unjust enrichment of the defendant?

 

Result:                            The defendant was unjustly enriched.  The defendant’s counterclaim was dismissed.
